The GAYtoZ DIRECTORY has been a steady hobby for the last decade, and for eight years I was also the PR Manager for the NATIONAL AIDS TRUST, helping to launch the Red Ribbon, World AIDS Day, and many other HIV policy projects and publications.

The GAYtoZ was one of the first gay sites on the internet in 1995, and it has grown steadily until today it attracts over 300,000 visitors every month, and over 300 advertisers. My 'Personal Assistant' Jim comes in every day to concentrate on data entry, adding 1000 new entries this year, while Colin and David keep the technical cogs oiled.

In 1996 Andrew and I sold Offley Road and I bought Cooks Road (and Andrew bought a Triumph motobike). I now let out my spare room as Kennington B&B and, as usual, my home is always full of interesting strangers from around the world.

I have been visiting New York two or three times a year, especially for the famous BLACK PARTY each March, and have now organised the GAYtoZ so that I can run it from my laptop wherever I am.

My friend Tony has bought a new Motorbike so I have his old Honda, and am now gradually gaining confidence for the London traffic. However you will still see me on my pushbike most days.

The Coote family has grown: Richard and Anjela now have four kids, Peter and Faye have three, and Sarah has two. Mum and Dad are still active at St Cuthbert's Church in Copnor, and they both visited me in London recently and I enjoyed their stay.
